The Botany installation combines a UMAX STRIX Series light steel structure with GoodWe Polaris solar panels, bringing solar generation and weather protection to the same parking area.
The carport layout was coordinated with the development’s final parking plan. The solar roof uses the space above the bays, leaving the building’s rooftop available for other uses.

102 GoodWe Polaris Series panels, rated at 540 W each, form the 55.08 kWp solar roof.

Overlapping panels and built-in drainage channels form a waterproof roof and direct rainwater away.

STRIX light steel framing uses bolted connections, with the frame and foundations designed to suit the site.
UMAX’s scope covered structural design, engineering, fabrication and supply.
Coordinate the carport layout with the final parking plan.
Design the light steel frame and foundations for the site.
Engineering calculations, construction drawings and certified structural design.
Fabricate the STRIX components and supply the carport structure to the project team.

A wall-mounted GoodWe three-phase string inverter forms part of the installed solar system.
