How the cold room
stays powered.

Solar first. Battery when needed. Generator backup when required.

SUN AVAILABLE

Solar PV
Cold room

Solar powers the room.

Solar runs refrigeration. Surplus energy charges the battery for later.

AFTER SUNSET

Battery
Cold room

The battery takes over.

Stored energy powers refrigeration when solar output is low or unavailable.

LOW BATTERY

Generator
Cold room

Backup starts automatically.

If stored energy runs low, the generator starts automatically to power cooling or recharge the battery.

Battery runtime depends on sunlight, ambient temperature, loading and door use. Generator operation requires fuel and routine servicing.

Choose the size
for your site.

Two container sizes. The same integrated solar, battery and generator approach.

Designed around
reliable cooling.

  1. 100 mm PU insulation

Insulated walls, ceiling and floor help reduce heat transfer into the storage space.

  2. Separate equipment compartment

The electrical equipment bay is physically separated from the cold room.

  3. Insulated door with safety release

An internal safety release and PVC strip curtain support practical day-to-day access.

  4. Adjustable chilled or frozen storage

Set one storage compartment to the temperature your goods require.

Frequently asked
questions.

Have a site-specific question? Tell us where you operate and what you need to store.

Talk about your project
Can it operate without mains power?

Yes. The system integrates solar panels, battery storage and a diesel backup generator for operation without a mains connection. The final configuration should be checked against your location and cooling requirements.

What happens at night or during cloudy weather?

The battery supports operation when solar output is low or unavailable. When required, the generator starts automatically to support refrigeration or recharge the battery.

How long can it run on battery power?

Battery runtime depends on ambient temperature, the set temperature, stored goods, incoming product temperature and door-opening frequency. Share your operating conditions for a project-specific assessment.

Can chilled and frozen goods be stored at the same time?

The standard unit has one cold storage compartment, adjustable from −18°C to +6°C. It is not a simultaneous dual-temperature room. Select a setting appropriate for your goods.

What preparation does the site need?

Provide a level, load-bearing foundation, suitable drainage and access for delivery and lifting. Allow space for the solar array, ventilation and maintenance. Installation includes solar structure assembly, connections and commissioning.

Is remote monitoring included?

Remote monitoring is optional. The monitoring package can collect temperature and energy data and provide alerts. Connectivity and any external satellite terminal or subscription are confirmed separately.

How do I choose between 20ft and 40ft?

Consider the goods you store, the space required for access and airflow, and your daily incoming stock. Share your requirements and we can discuss the appropriate configuration.

What is included in the system?

The proposed configuration brings together the containerised cold room, refrigeration, solar panels, battery storage, hybrid inverter and generator backup. Equipment and scope are confirmed in your project quotation.

Can it be delivered to a remote location?

Delivery is assessed for each site. Road access, lifting arrangements, foundations, location and the final installation scope need to be confirmed.

What servicing and warranty are available?

Contact our team for the applicable warranty terms and to discuss servicing arrangements for your location and configuration.

Can it cool newly harvested produce?

Cooling needs depend on the type and quantity of produce, incoming temperature, target temperature and daily loading. Share these details so the system can be assessed for your application.
